Yep,  it's official.  I am obsessed with those Brits! BBC America is the only channel ever on at our house and my Facebook page is full of updates about the royal wedding.  I'm sure my invitation must've just gotten held up in the mail (it does take a long time for the post to reach me here in middle America).  Now, what to wear to such an occasion...? A hat for sure, right?  Yeah, alright.  I'm probably not invited, but I will be watching the festivities from my work computer and counting down on my blog ticker!

Welcome to A Game of Gnomes!  I'm sure one of your first questions about this blog is how I came up with the name, right?  One of my favorite books is called A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. and my poor baby son was born with the most absurd-looking cone head.  He promptly got the nickname of "Gnome".

This blog will be a testament of the life we gnomes live.
